SkillTree compositions contain all the main information. They can have a single or multiple skilltrees, each skilltree having interconnected skills. This allows you to combine also interrelated skilltrees and display them on a single page.
Managing your compositions
In the section SkillTrees, which is also the entry point after logging in, you will find a list of your skilltrees on cards. If you have not yet created any, you can start by clicking on the big Plus button on the top right. Give the SkillTree composition a title and you will be taken to the SkillTree Drag and Drop Editor. There is another page with information about the DnD Editor, it will not be covered here.
Each SkillTree composition in the list has several buttons below the three dot options button on the lower right on each card. You can edit the title, or copy the composition. The third button will take you to the Editor, where you can add skilltrees or skills. There is a button that will take you to the student monitor. Here you can monitor people that you have shared your composition with. There is also a view button, where the composition will be displayed as users will see it.
Shared SkillTrees
You will find all SkillTree compositions that are shared with you. Here you have the option only to view or possibly copy the SkillTree. When viewing, you can see the skills and your progress on the skilltrees.
SkillTrees in your domain
You may see additional skilltrees if you are logged in under a custom domain. This will appear automatically if:
1. You have logged in using either Microsoft or Google
2. You have a custom extension, i.e. NOT ending with common hosts such as “gmail.com” or “outlook.com”
This provides a way to share SkillTree compositions between colleagues.
